Our ‘chunky monkey’ 30cm tile is a lovely, thick slab of clay, and easily one of the best 30cm terracotta tiles on the market. Perfect for underfloor heating. At a depth of 2.8 to 3 cms, it is a proper traditional clay tile and very diverse – it can be used indoors in all settings, and is ideal if you’re looking for a 12″ pamment in the East of England region. As with all of our handmade terracotta tiles, the mix of our unique three clay blend when combined with wood firing, ensures that each tile possesses a lovely blend of colours and textures. Featuring reds, oranges, darker shades like greys, maroons and blacks, and lighter shades such as creams and pinks, our tiles will help to create a room or setting which is full of warmth and originality. Our classic 12″ clay tile is perfect for any room and setting – traditional or contemporary, and can be laid fairly quickly and easily, in both a parallel or overlapping brickwork style, or diagonally across a large room. As with all handmade clay / terracotta tiles, they need to be sealed with a synthetic or natural sealant.
