Description

Our intricate 6″ (15cm) octagon design, is full of character, with the high number of tiles per metre (80 including square inserts) ensuring that every floor is full of character. If you’re looking for an intricate, detailed floor, especially in a medium sized room such as a kitchen or dining room, then the Octagon design is ideal. As with all of our handmade terracotta tiles, the mix of our unique three clay blend when combined with wood firing, ensures that each tile possesses a lovely blend of colours, textures and unique features such as burn marks from flames in the kiln. Featuring reds, oranges, darker shades like greys, maroons and blacks, and lighter shades such as creams and pinks, our tiles will help to create a room or setting which is full of warmth and originality. As with all handmade clay / terracotta tiles, they need to be sealed with a synthetic or natural sealant. At a very affordable £40 per metre, these classic tiles will create a lovely, intricate floor in any room.

About

After working as a ceramic artist for many years, my love of clay led me to the purchase of a small handmade factory a few years ago, and I now produce a beautiful range of handmade terracotta floor tiles.
