Description

Based on the traditional East of England handmade pamment, our 9″ square tile is an excellent replica of the traditional pamment tiles, which are still being made today. Our other sized handmade terracotta tiles can also be said to function as excellent replicas for pamment tiles. With 19 tiles per metre, you’re guaranteed to have a beautiful floor which is full of tradition and character. As with all of our handmade terracotta tiles, the mix of our unique three clay blend combined with wood firing, ensures that each tile possesses a lovely blend of colours and textures. Featuring reds, oranges, darker shades like greys, maroons and blacks, our tiles will help to create a room or setting which is full of warmth and originality. Our 9″ pamment tile is perfect for East of England projects, and can be laid fairly quickly and easily, in both a parallel or overlapping style. As with all handmade clay / terracotta tiles, they need to be sealed with a synthetic or natural sealant. At an affordable £31.95 per metre, these rich, warm tiles are incredible value, and priced around 50% to 75% lower than other pamments for sale in the UK.

About

After working as a ceramic artist for many years, my love of clay led me to the purchase of a small handmade factory a few years ago, and I now produce a beautiful range of handmade terracotta floor tiles.
